Lower Removable Expander
These expanders are used to improve the growth of the lower jaw.
Additional space is made available for the adult teeth to erupt. Through this treatment it is possible to avoid almost all extractions of the adult teeth. The amount of time patients must wear braces is also usually reduced. Patients often complete all orthodontic treatment before high school.
The length of time the patient is in the appliance varies from patient to patient.
